The rotary drum flaker is conduction cooling drying equipment for continuous production. This equipment is used in industrial settings to convert liquid material into flakes or solidified sheets. Working Principle



 










The target of our rotary drum flaker is to convert a hot molten product into solid flakes using an internal cooled drum: A thin layer of liquid product adheres to the outside of the rotating drum and solidifies between the feed and the cutter. when the hardened layer reaches the cutter, it peels off the drum and breaks into small flakes, falling into the discharge device. Depending on product features, different designs are available.

The thickness of the produced flakes depends on the following parameters:

* Drum rotational speed



* Cooling fluid temperature



All these parameters can be adjusted through the control system to achieve production optimization.
