The port travelling rack-luffing crane is the double link jib parallelogram(or single boom) and full-circle slewing moving crane, rack and pinion luffing(or rope luffing), equalizing beam for counterweight, adopt the means of compensation with pulley block, gantry with cylindrical structure. It’s designed for the handling of bulk materials and general cargoes from vessel alongside sea and river ports, storage yards and stations. The crane can be fitted with either hook or grab. It can also handle container when it is equipped with container sling.
The port crane should be designed and manufactured in accordance with the European standard rules of "FEM", the China standard rules of "GB3811-1983 design rules for cranes" and "GB6067-1985 safety rules for lifting appliances".
The port machinery adopt the means of AC inverter to change the motors’ speed, and the electrical system will be controlled by PLC. The cab is of panoramic-view type. The high quality marine cables and controllers are provided in electrical system. The central slip-ring collector has the advantages of large capacity and good property and is suitable for port frequent operation. Necessary electrical and mechanical safety protection devices are provided for mechanisms.

It is a multi-purpose boom type crane single-arm structure widely used for ship loading and unloading operations on the front of the dock. It is installed on the laid track and the whole machine moves.
Can be equipped with container automatic spreaders, hooks or grabs for loading and unloading of containers, groceries or bulk cargo.
Can be loaded with horizontal displacement and amplitude wire rope and any angle of rotation. Lifting, luffing and turning can be operated separately or in combination, and the operation is convenient and flexible.

It realizes fault monitoring and provides troubleshooting assistance; realizes dynamic monitoring of operating status and provides dynamic change graphic display; it also has safety information alarm, lubrication maintenance management help and a manned dialogue window.
